Stitches and Walkers (Desensitization)

It’s perhaps worrisome that watching other people incur physical injury makes me giggle with delight. I love few things more than the sound and visual of a bone-crunching hit up against the plexiglass during a hockey game, or the sound of bones snapping at the hands and feet of Tony Jaa as he whips the shit out of an endless spree of henchmen in movies like The Protector. I don’t know why any of that is funny, whether real or choreographed, but it just is.
