Merry Christmas To All
Hey everyone. First and foremost, I apologize for no blog entry this past Wednesday. Between helping Chris with his move and the overall chaos of work during the holidays, my latest post was lost in the shuffle. Never fear though, I’m here on Christmas Eve to address you all.
This past week (well, month I should say) has been absolute hell at work. People have been relentless with questions about items that sold out over a month ago, crowding the entire store in several areas to the point you can’t even move, and ripping apart aisles and damaging property all in the name of holiday cheer. People seem to be getting worse each year I work in retail, as their overall kindness has diminished. I’ve always said the most wonderful time of the year brings out the absolute worst in people.
Although initially my love for the holidays was put on hold due to all the chaos, I can now say I’m in the holiday spirit. With the next three days off, I’m gonna sit back, enjoy my time with family and friends, and open presents. I still get a thrill every year of walking downstairs Christmas morning and seeing all the presents under the tree. I’m very much looking forward to this holiday season and I hope you all will too.
So from me to all of you, Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, Happy Kwanzaa. Whatever you celebrate, I hope it’s fantastic.
